A Golden Milestone for W Bro David Thompson

The Brethren of the Lodge of Friendship No. 750 recently enjoyed a truly memorable evening as we celebrated a remarkable milestone in the Masonic journey of W Bro David Thompson.

In recognition of his fifty years of dedicated service to Freemasonry, W Bro David was presented with his 50-Year Jubilee Certificate by W Bro Colin Dent PAPGM. The presentation was a fitting tribute to five decades of commitment, friendship, and support for the Craft.

Reaching fifty years in Freemasonry is an achievement of which any Brother can be immensely proud. Throughout those years, W Bro David has demonstrated the values and principles that lie at the heart of our Order, contributing greatly to both his Lodge and the wider Masonic community. His dedication and example continue to be appreciated by all who have had the pleasure of knowing and working alongside him.

The presentation itself was conducted in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, with Brethren and visitors joining together to recognise this significant occasion. It was a moment of reflection on a distinguished Masonic career, as well as an opportunity to thank W Bro David for his many years of service and companionship.

Following the presentation, the celebrations continued in fine style, with excellent company, good humour, and plenty of fellowship. As is often the case at the Lodge of Friendship, the evening was enjoyed by all, creating yet another memorable chapter in the history of our Lodge.
